Client: Ohmium
Role: Design
Category: Social Media
THE PROBLEM
Ohmium is advancing green hydrogen technology with scalable PEM-based electrolyzers that use renewable electricity to split water into hydrogen and oxygen. It’s complex and communicating their story on social presented a challenge. With the in-house creative team stretched thin, Ohmium needed a flexible system that could empower non-designers to create polished, on-brand posts—without sacrificing visual precision or credibility.
THE SOLUTION
I developed a modular toolkit in Canva, giving the team an easy way to create content across a variety of messages and audiences. Taking cues from Ohmium’s existing identity, I translated its bold color palette and modern geometry into a flexible system including custom patterns, backgrounds, and data visualization inspired by the form of green hydrogen molecules.
IMPACT
The exploration gave Ohmium a clear visual framework for thinking about how its brand could translate into a scalable system. It demonstrated new ways to visualize technical information, humanize the brand, and create greater consistency across content created by both designers and non-designers.
Although the direction ultimately proved bolder than the team was ready to embrace, the process helped clarify the right balance of innovation, accessibility, and brand familiarity—and gave the team a stronger foundation for evolving its social presence.
